Shana Tova to you and your families.
The growth of our community and Shul is a testament to the generosity of our members, but our greatest resource remains Rabbi Solomon’s & Chana’s time.
To help address the developing needs of our community, over the summer a Strategic Committee was formed at the Rabbi’s behest to advise and guide on how best to effectively maintain the culture they work so tirelessly to cultivate.
We concluded that our Chabad needs additional resources to ensure healthy continuity of their sacrosanct work. This new initiative will be a tremendous help to Rabbi & Chana in hiring our Shul’s new “Chabad’s Future Leaders” to assist then in managing youth and general programing, adult education, and the associated administrative burden of advancing these foundational agendas.
To ensure a successful year, a select group of anonymous members have generously offered to match all Kol Nidrei donations raised between now and Yom Kippur, so your gifts will have the greatest resonance if you contribute today.
As you know, the annual Yom Kippur Kol Nidrei Appeal is the Shul’s singular fundraising drive. As a sign of strength, we are once again seeking 100% participation; any amount you can donate is greatly appreciated.
To simplify logistics, you can donate online through our Kol Nidrei fundraiser page or you can also mail checks to Chabad at Short Hills, 650 South Orange Ave, Livingston, NJ 07039.
We thank you for your help in supporting the meaningful work of our Chabad. We look forward to seeing you at our many new programs, classes, and events in the New Year.
Wishing you a year of health, happiness, peace and nachas.
With sincere appreciation,
The Strategic Committee,
Chabad at Short Hills
