My Dear Community Members and Friends,

For many years, our Shul has been in need of a uniquely, smaller sized, Sefer Torah that can be easily transported to community members Simchas, Shiva’s and special occasions.

I cannot think of a better way to honor both my beloved, late father Reb. Reuven Solomon, z”l, whose love of Torah and commitment to Judaism never wavered and the loving memory of my granddaughter Raia who both inexplicably passed away on the exact same day. Through this newly commissioned smaller sized Community Torah, I am certain that they will forever remain united as one.

A new Torah scroll is a sign of a vibrant and flourishing community that is brimming with Jewish pride.

A new Torah scroll is a sign of a vibrant and flourishing community that is brimming with Jewish pride. Please join us as we write a new chapter in Jewish history and use this Torah as a reminder of our faith and commitment to our bright future.

I warmly welcome your participation in the writing of this sacred CommUnity Torah. Each part of the Torah, the letters, the words, the sentences and Torah portions, can be endowed in honor of your family, friends or in loving memory of those who have passed.

There are many ways to participate in this unique opportunity. To determine the dedication that works best for you, please click on the “Dedication” tab above.

The Mitzvah of writing a Torah connects us all, one letter at a time - uniting each of us as “One People”. I encourage your participation in this special mitzvah and I thank you for partnering with us.

With appreciation and blessings,

Rabbi Mendel Solomon
